On April 8, the groundbreaking ceremony of Zhongfu Shenying’s high-performance carbon fiber project with an annual output of 30,000 tons was held in Lianyungang, Jiangsu. Li Xinhua, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of China National Building Material (CNBM) Group, attended and addressed the event. Ma Shiguang, secretary of Lianyungang Municipal Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, announced the launch of construction. Huang Yuanzheng, member of the Standing Committee and secretary-general of Lianyungang Municipal Party Committee, Executive Vice Mayor Yang Xinzhong and Vice Mayor Zhang Jiong of Lianyungang Municipal Government, Zhi Xiao, assistant general manager, general manager of the Strategic Development Department and director of the Science and Technology Management Department of CNBM Group, Xue Zhongming, vice president of CNBM Co., Ltd., party secretary and chairman of China Composites Group Corporation Ltd., Chen Yu, general manager of China Building Materials United Investment Co., Ltd., Chen Yu, general manager of CNBM United Investment Co., Ltd., as well as Chairman Zhang Guoliang and General Manager Liu Fang of Zhongfu Shenying, attended the ceremony and laid the foundation for the project.
